VOLUNTEERS

What is volunteering with Brighton & Hove Rugby League like?

At Brighton & Hove Rugby League, we’re building a sustainable Rugby League club, culture and community in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex area.

We know that building a great team off the pitch is going to be just as important as having a great team on the pitch.

We’re always on the lookout for Rugby League missionaries – people who are passionate about growing this amazing sport in our region. You don’t have to be an expert – but a willingness to learn and getting on well with others will go a long way!

There are a range of benefits that volunteers can get and these are often specific to each individual. However, we’ve found being part of an engaged and inclusive team is hugely rewarding. Some of the benefits you can get from volunteering:

  • Have fun
  • Build your confidence and self-esteem
  • A chance to meet new people
  • Supports good mental health and well-being
  • Make a difference in your local community
  • Give something back to the sport
  • Learn and develop new skills
  • Enhance your CV and expand your network

We sometimes have specific roles available, which will be listed below, but if you’re interested in getting involved and don’t know where to start, fill out the form below and we can find a role that suits you.
